E-bikes seminar at iceBike* 2017
Posted on 9 Feb 2017
Cytech launched their Technical e-bike course last year and have since been delivering the latest in e-bike technical training to the industry.
The course covers relevant legislation, a broad range of e-bike systems and brands and gives technicians the fundamental understanding needed to sell, maintain and fault find on any e-bike that comes through their doors.
Cytech's master technician Jules Thrasher will be at iceBike* 2017 sharing his expertise on e-bike systems, batteries and maintenance and delivering e-bike seminars, with a focus on Shimano STEPS, to visitors every day of the event.
The audience will be guided through on-bike adjustments that can be made such as the various displays and settings available to the rider, as well as initial fault finding with both electrical and mechanical parts. This includes spotting signs that something isn't quite right, understanding error codes and much more.
The software that comes with e-bikes will also be covered, namely the E-TUBE PROJECT from Shimano, going through the features and adjustments that can be made once the bike is linked to a computer.
To make sure you don't miss out on attending the seminar head over to the iceBike* retail area for 2pm and don't forget to bring a notepad! More information on other talks during the day can also be found here.
If for whatever reason you miss Jules' talk, or if you want to find out more about e-bikes, the Cytech technical e-bike course or have any other questions then come and talk to Cytech and ATG Training on the stand next to the ACT.
