Advertise your jobs with the ACT for FREE

Posted on 2 Jun 2020

For a limited time only we are giving the entire cycling trade free access to the full range of ACT job boards!

Since the lockdown was first initiated in March and restrictions were placed on leaving the house for work and exercise, as well as public transport being heavily discouraged, it triggered the beginning of what is now known as the cycling 'boom'.

The huge increase in demand from the general public has led to an increase of cash in tills, retail finance in the cycle sector hitting reaching a new all-time high in April 2020 and a £2 billion package being introduced by the government to create 'new era' for active transport.

However, the question that is becoming increasingly urgent is how long will supply be able to keep up with this demand? Both bicycle parts and skilled labour are becoming harder to get hold of, and as demand is still predicted to increase, the need for a skilled workforce will only escalate further.

The ACT is now offering free job advertisement across an array of job boards to help the industry throughout this demanding yet positive period! This means that any jobs that you post will be available to view by tens of thousands of readers on the following websites:

Recruit and train with the ACT and Cytech

This gives an ideal opportunity to train new recruits to Cytech standards and ensure that your workshops are operating to full capacity. Read more about the reopening of Cytech workshop training facilities here.
