First Cytech e-bike course a resounding success

On 23rd of May the first Cytech technical e-bike course took place at ATG Training.
The Cytech technical e-bike course is designed to be 
a comprehensive look at e-bikes. ATG Training has worked closely with ACT to develop course content that covers basic electrical theory, terminology and safe working practices when dealing with batteries and electrical units developing understanding of wiring diagrams, muti meter uses, soldering iron and electrical crimps. The main focus on the course held at ATG Training offices in Aylesbury provided a guide to the best practice for installing electrical connectors, removal and installation of components, diagnostics, testing and fault finding of components.
The first course was run on 23rd May at ATG Training's centre in Aylesbury.
Over the 4 days ATG Trainer Jules Thrasher introduced the use of intelligent diagnostic systems, understanding and working to the legal standards and being able to differentiate between types approved and non- type approved e-bikes, communicating service work completed to the customer and test rides of the bikes.
The course was a great experience for all involved. Course attendee Will Davis commented "I was excited to be part of the first e-bike course at ATG Aylesbury. I found the course to be well organised and the tuition very helpful.
The course covered a diverse range of skills and it explained the workings and maintenance of e-bikes in a clear and structured manner.

The Cytech e-bike course is aimed at bicycle dealers who are looking to stock e-bikes, sales staff and mechanics who will be expected to sell/work on them.
