Cytech technical one practical - End of Week, Start back to Study
This course is aimed at technicians, and support staff, new to the bicycle industry. Covering everything needed to competently perform a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) on a bicycle in compliance with the latest recognised standards, as well as basic maintenance, frame prep, and fundamental work etiquette. Pairs with Cytech Technical one Theory course to make up the Cytech Technical one certificate. For more information click here. |

Cytech home mechanic - End of Week, Prep for Winter!
This is a two full-day course with no assessment, covering all the basic needed to maintain your own bicycle(s) at home - tyres, brakes, gears, wheel straightening, general checks and adjustments, and anything else there is time for. Cytech technical three - with electronic gear systems - Specialise in September!
A course for advanced technicians, experienced enough to work on the most sensitive and complex components found on modern bicycles: Servicing front and rear suspension units including springs and dampers, stripping and rebuilding dropper seatposts and disc brake calipers, diagnostics and fitting of electronic gear systems, and advanced wheel building. Cytech technical e-bike - Monday to Wednesday
A course dedicated to everything e-bike for technicians with good mechanical experience. From basic hub-based e-bikes, to mid-motor systems with diagnostic software, and foundational electronics principles to tie it all together - strip, rebuild, and test motors and e-bike systems to gain a comprehensive understanding. Cytech Technical Two qualification or similar experience is recommended as a prerequisite. For more information click here. |

Cytech technical two - 2 week comprehensive
2 weeks of intensive training and assessment, covering the skills and knowledge required to be a professional bike technician. It covers servicing and assembling all parts of a bicycle groupset from a variety of bikes, individually and as part of a full bicycle rebuild, and the skill of building and truing a wheel.
