Cytech Ireland at The Rediscovery Centre

Cytech training in Ireland is delivered in Dublin by the Rediscovery Centre, the National Centre for the Circular Economy in Ireland. Established in 2004, the Rediscovery Centre’s mission is to lead Ireland’s transition to a circular economy and a sustainable future by creating a fair and inclusive society that thrives within the boundaries of our natural resources. Rediscover Cycling was created in 2010 as one of their four reuse social enterprises, in which they collect bikes donated to recycling centres for reuse, bring them back to roadworthiness, and train-up new bicycle technicians in the process.

Education is one of the core goals of the Rediscovery Centre - empowering individuals and communities with the knowledge, skills and tools to live more sustainably. Their workshop is equipped with up-to-date professional tools and equipment, and their training team has the latest knowledge and hundreds of hours of training experience to offer the highest standard of cycle technician training in Ireland.

Based in the repurposed Boiler House in Ballymun, the Centre is easily accessible by bus, bike, or car. The area has nearby options for accommodation, food shopping, and refreshment, including a café on site.
