We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team at South Downs Bikes, Goring. This role is permanent and full time.
The successful candidate will be the initial contact of South Downs Bikes, therefore a professional attitude, good product knowledge and an affable manner are essential.
As the successful candidate will be responsible from point of contact to handover of product, communication skills need to be excellent between other team members, suppliers, and customers to ensure excellent customer service.
A passion for cycling is essential.
Core duties:
- Meet and greet customers to make positive, lasting first impressions.
- Explain product with features and benefits.
- Answering phone and email enquiries.
- Consistent and timely communication with customers with the progress of their orders.
- Assisting the Store Manager with day to day running of the store.
- Ensure Cycle to Work Scheme administration is carried out and monitored.
- Developing product knowledge.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
- Using the Point of Sale to coordinate orders, workshop booking and stock control.
